- Access of licence1.business.gov.sg ("the Website") is governed by the terms and conditions as stated below ("Terms of Use"). By accessing and using the Website, you shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not accept any of these Terms of Use, please leave the Website.
- In these Terms of Use, the words "we", "our" and "us" refer to the Government of Singapore and all Statutory Boards. "Statutory Board" means any body corporate established by or under written law from time to time to perform or discharge any public function.
- These Terms of Use may be changed from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your use of the Website after changes have been posted on the Website will constitute your agreement to the modified Terms of Use and all of the changes
- We may modify or discontinue any information or features that form part of the Website at any time, with or without notice to you, and without liability.
- Access To the Website
- The accessibility and operation of the Website relies on technologies which are not under our control. We do not guarantee continuous accessibility or uninterrupted operation of the Website.
- We reserve all rights to deny or restrict access to this Website by any particular person or to block access from any Internet address to this Website, at any time, without ascribing any reasons whatsoever.
- Communication With You
- Where appropriate we may contact you via telephone, e-mail, or text messages for additional information and clarification
- Security
- We will use available technology to protect the security of communications made through the Website. Notwithstanding the above, we do not accept liability for the security, authenticity, integrity or confidentiality of any transactions or other communications made through the Website. You carry out any transactions or communications at your own risk.
- Internet communications may be susceptible to interference or interception by third parties. Despite our best efforts, we make no warranties that the Website is free of infection by computer viruses or other unauthorised software.
- You should take appropriate steps to keep your information, software and equipment secure. This includes clearing your Internet browser cookies and cache before and after using any services on the Website.
- You should keep your passwords (including your Singpass or log-in password, and designated password for your organisation's use) ("Passwords") confidential and secure. The Government will not request for your Passwords by e-mail or other modes of communication, other than as an authentication key for entry into and transactions over the Website.
- We may issue designated passwords for your organisation's use ("Designated Password") by any means as we may prescribe from time to time. While we take measures to ensure that the means of dispatch is reasonably reliable, you are responsible for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from the loss of the Designated Password.
- You are responsible for the use of the Designated Password. You shall keep the Designated Password secure and ensure that there is no unauthorised use of the Designated Password.
- You are responsible for all transactions entered into or purported to be entered into on your and/or your organisation's behalf. We may rely and act on any transaction submitted on the Website with the use of the Designated Password as conclusive evidence that your organisation has authorised the making of the transaction and/or use of the Designated Password by the originator of that transaction and you shall not be allowed to allege that the transaction and/or the use of the Designated Password was not authorised by your organisation, unless notice of the unauthorised use of the Designated Password is given to us pursuant to cl 4.8.
- You shall immediately notify licences-helpdesk@crimsonlogic.com.sg ("our Contact") in writing if you reasonably believe that your Designated Password is lost, damage, compromised, or used in an unauthorised manner. Our Contact will provide an acknowledge confirming receipt of this notice as soon as reasonably practicable. We are not deemed to have received such notice unless our Contact has acknowledged receipt in writing
- On receiving such notice from you pursuant to Clause 4.7, we will as soon as reasonably practicable, (a) suspend or terminate the Designated Password; and (b) use reasonable endeavours to stop the processing of transactions originating from the compromised Designated Password. You will be bound by all transactions which we relied upon before such suspension or termination, or the processing of which we were unable to stop.

- We are not responsible or liable for the availability or content of any non-Government website ("private website") linked to or from the Website or on any other site reached by links to or from the Website.
- The Government is not liable for any damage or loss of any kind caused as a result (whether direct or indirect) of the use of any private website, including but not limited to any damage or loss suffered as a result of reliance on the contents contained in or available on the private website.
- Hyperlinks to other websites are provided as a convenience. Under no circumstances shall the Government be considered to be associated or affiliated with any trade or service marks, logos, insignia or other devices used or appearing on websites to which this Website is linked.
- We reserve the right to disable or change the URL of the Website stated at Clause 1.1 of the Terms of Use. If you create a link to The Website, you do so at your own risk.
- We reserve the right to impose conditions when permitting any hyperlinking to, or framing of, the Website or any of its contents.
- We reserve the right to object to or disable any link to this Website for any reason.
- Intellectual Property
- Any material located on or provided through the services offered on the Website including source code, data, pages, documents and online graphics, audio and video ("the Contents") in the Website are protected by copyright, trade mark and other forms of proprietary rights. The rights, title and interest in the Contents are owned by or licensed to us.
- Subject to Clause 6.3, no part of the Contents may be reproduced, transmitted, distributed, incorporated in printed or electronic form or used in any way without the prior written approval of the Government. Approval should be sought by sending a request by email to licences-helpdesk@crimsonlogic.com.sg.
- Users of the Website may make copies of the Contents for the purpose of applying for licences, permits and registrations on the Website. You may also print out, and copy portions of the text in accordance with provisions of the Copyright Act (Cap. 63).

- All the information provided on the Website is offered for informational purposes only. The materials provide general information about the matters discussed, and do not constitute legal advice or legal opinions on any specific matters.

- Government agencies and Statutory Boards may impose their own terms and conditions for Licence Applications made to, processed and issued by them. If you apply for such registrations, licences and permits, your Licence Applications shall be subjected to the respective agencies' terms and conditions and you shall comply with such terms and conditions before submitting any application through the Website.
- Lodgement of any Licence Application does not indicate that it will be approved. The Licence Application will be assessed by the respective Government agencies and Statutory Boards to which the Licence Application is made.
- Fees
- We reserve the right to introduce new fees from time to time. We are not responsible for any fees charged by any other Internet site (not provided by us).
- Credit Card / Direct Debit Transactions
- You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card / direct debit card information you supply to us via the Website is true, correct and complete and (ii) the charges you incur will be honoured by your credit card / direct debit company and (iii) you shall pay the charges you incur including all applicable fees.
- Applicable Laws
- The use of the Website and these Terms of Use and all its subsequent variations shall be subject to, governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and you hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in the determination of any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Website.
